Warnors Theatre is a 2,100-seat movie palace at 1400 Fulton Street in downtown Fresno. It opened in 1928 as the Pantages Theater, named for its owner Alexander Pantages, and was designed by theater architect B. Marcus Priteca. Warner Brothers bought it in 1929 and ran it as the Warner Theater; the spelling changed to "Warnors" in the 1960s to avoid trademark trouble. Its Robert Morton theatre organ, installed in 1928 just as sound films arrived, has 14 ranks and 1,035 pipes. The Caglia family bought and restored the theater in 1973, and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
