Iron-on patch

Venice Beach

$8.00

Venice Beach is the oceanfront of Venice, a Westside neighborhood of Los Angeles that developer Abbot Kinney founded in 1905 as the seaside resort 'Venice of America', complete with canals. Venice was an independent city until Los Angeles annexed it in 1926. The beach is lined by Ocean Front Walk, a 2.5-mile pedestrian promenade of street performers, fortune-tellers and vendors, along with Muscle Beach and the Venice Beach Recreation Center. Its basketball courts are known nationally for high-level streetball, and the Venice Fishing Pier reaches 1,310 feet into the ocean at the end of Washington Boulevard. The beach will host the triathlon and the starts of the marathon and road cycling races at the 2028 Summer Olympics.
