Tulsa Botanic Garden

$8.00

Tulsa Botanic Garden is a 170-acre botanical garden about 8 miles northwest of downtown Tulsa, just inside Osage County, and it is still being built out one garden at a time. The project was conceived in 1999 as the Oklahoma Centennial Botanical Garden; the land was donated in 2004, and a 7-acre lake and a small visitor center were dedicated in 2008 and opened to the public in 2009. Renamed Tulsa Botanic Garden in 2013, it has opened in phases since, adding the A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces in 2015, the Children's Discovery Garden in 2016, the Lotus Pool and Liberty Garden in 2023 and the Bost Arboretum in 2024. Its spring show, Tulsa Botanic BLOOMS, is one of the largest flower displays in Oklahoma, with more than 200,000 daffodils, tulips and other bulbs, and the Botanic Garden of Lights runs each winter.
