Iron-on patch

Truman Waterfront Park

$8.00

Truman Waterfront Park is a City of Key West park at the end of Southard Street, on the island's western waterfront between the Truman Annex and Fort Zachary Taylor. It sits on land from the former Naval Station Key West, which closed in 1974; the part of the base handed to civilian control now holds the park, the Key West Amphitheater and new housing. The city lists a playground, a splash pad, picnic areas, trails, a bike trail and water access among its amenities. The park's Coffee Butler Amphitheater, owned by the city and managed by Rams Head Presents, stages concerts on a grassy lawn that looks out over the Gulf of Mexico. The park is open every day from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
