Iron-on patch

Rockhound State Park

$8.00

Rockhound State Park, near Deming, New Mexico, is one of the few state parks in the country that actively encourages visitors to collect rocks and minerals from its grounds, allowing up to 15 pounds per person per visit. The Little Florida Mountains within the park contain geodes, agates, and other minerals formed by ancient volcanic activity. The park draws rockhounding enthusiasts specifically for this rare collecting privilege. Its desert terrain and mineral-rich hills make it a distinctive stop for both hikers and collectors.
