Iron-on patch

Riverview Park

$8.00

Riverview Park is a City of Mesa park at 2100 W. Rio Salado Parkway, by the Salt River in the northwest corner of the city. Its centerpiece is Riverview Lake, a community fishing lake west of Dobson Road where anglers catch rainbow trout, largemouth bass, sunfish, channel catfish and carp. The park also has a seasonal splash pad, a playground with a 50-foot climbing tower and a 60-foot caterpillar rope structure, ramadas, grills and a baseball complex, and the Rio Salado Pathway links it to Tempe Town Lake and the Mesa Riverview shopping center. The city's 155-acre park site also takes in Sloan Park, the Chicago Cubs' spring-training ballpark, which stands just west of the lake. The park is open from sunrise to 10 p.m.
