Ringwood State Park

Ringwood State Park, in Ringwood, New Jersey, combines several historic properties, including Ringwood Manor, a large mansion once home to families connected to the region's colonial-era iron industry, which supplied cannons and ironwork to the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. The park also includes Skylands Manor, a Tudor-revival estate that now houses the New Jersey State Botanical Garden. The surrounding hills were mined for iron ore for more than two centuries before the industry declined. Trails through the park's forest connect its historic buildings and gardens.
