Randy's Donuts is a 24-hour drive-in doughnut shop in Inglewood, California, instantly recognizable for the colossal doughnut sculpture mounted on its roof. The building opened in 1952 as the second location of the Big Donut chain, and was renamed Randy's Donuts in 1976 after Robert Eskow bought the shop and named it for his son. The rooftop doughnut, built from rolled steel bars covered in gunite, is considered one of the last great examples of Southern California's mid-century programmatic roadside architecture. It sits near Los Angeles International Airport and has appeared in dozens of films and music videos, including Iron Man 2.
