Quechee State Park, in Quechee, Vermont, is built around Quechee Gorge, a roughly 165-foot-deep chasm cut by the Ottauquechee River and often nicknamed 'Vermont's Little Grand Canyon.' U.S. Route 4 crosses the gorge on a bridge that has become a popular spot for visitors to view the chasm without hiking down. Trails from the park descend to the river at the bottom of the gorge and continue along its rim. The park's campground sits within walking distance of the gorge overlook.
