Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve & Learning Center

$8.00

The Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve & Learning Center is a 162-acre nature preserve owned and run by the City of Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department, on the southwestern shore of Oso Bay at 2446 North Oso Parkway. About two miles of nature trails with informational plaques run through the wetlands, with walk-in entrances along North Oso Parkway. The Learning Center and its Trading Post work as a live classroom on coastal ecosystems, offering guided nature walks, school field trips and volunteer programs. Oso Bay is fed fresh water by Oso Creek and salt water from Corpus Christi Bay, and pelicans, herons, egrets, spoonbills and skimmers are regularly found on and around it.
