Iron-on patch

Multnomah Falls

$8.00

Multnomah Falls is a two-tiered waterfall on Multnomah Creek in the Columbia River Gorge, east of Troutdale between Corbett and Dodson, Oregon, and at 620 feet (189 m) it is the tallest waterfall in the state. The Benson Footbridge crosses 105 feet above the lower cascade, and a paved trail climbs from the historic Multnomah Falls Lodge to the bridge and on to an observation deck at the top of the falls. It draws more than two million visitors a year and is widely described as the most-visited natural recreation site in the Pacific Northwest; the Multnomah Falls Lodge bills it as the region's No. 1 natural tourist attraction. The falls are outside Portland's city limits, so visitors reach them by car from Interstate 84 at exit 31, where the lot often fills in summer, or by a seasonal shuttle or guided tour.
