Iron-on patch

Milwaukee Public Market

$8.00

The Milwaukee Public Market is an indoor food market at 400 North Water Street in the Historic Third Ward. It opened in 2005 in a steel, glass and brick building by The Kubala Washatko Architects, designed to honor the neighborhood's industrial past, and its founders took their inspiration from Seattle's Pike Place Market. About twenty independent, mostly local businesses lease its stalls, selling seafood, cheese and sausage, spices, olive oils, baked goods, coffee and candy alongside prepared foods and bars. A demonstration kitchen upstairs hosts cooking classes, and since 2018 the market has had its own stop on The Hop streetcar.
