Iron-on patch

Military Aviation Museum

$8.00

The Military Aviation Museum holds one of the world's largest private collections of World War I and World War II aircraft kept in flying condition, with planes from Germany, France, Italy, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Jerry Yagen founded it in 2005, and its hangars, including a 1934 Luftwaffe hangar moved from Cottbus, Germany, and a World War II control tower from RAF Goxhill, sit on a private grass airfield in the rural Pungo area of southern Virginia Beach, so plan on driving there. The aircraft fly at the museum's scheduled airshows and flight days rather than every day, and rides in its open-cockpit Waco and Stearman biplanes are a separate, paid booking.
