Midtown Global Market is an indoor international food hall and marketplace in the Midtown Exchange at 920 East Lake Street in Minneapolis. The Midtown Exchange was built in 1928 as a Sears retail store and mail-order warehouse, stood empty after Sears left in 1994, and reopened as mixed-use space in 2005. The market fills part of the building with small, independently owned restaurants, cafes and specialty grocers, along with stalls selling jewelry, clothing, art and handcrafted goods. It also hosts free live music, dance and family programs. The building has direct access to the Midtown Greenway trail, and the market marked its 20th year in 2026.
