Iron-on patch

Ludington State Park

$8.00

Ludington State Park, on Michigan's Lake Michigan shoreline near the city of Ludington, includes Hamlin Lake, formed by a dam on the Sable River, alongside miles of sand dunes along the Great Lake itself. The park's Big Sable Point Lighthouse, built in 1867 and standing over 100 feet tall, is reached by a walk along the beach and remains an active navigational aid. The Sable River is a popular canoeing route through the park's dune and wetland terrain. Its combination of two very different shorelines, lake and dune, makes it one of Michigan's most varied state parks.
