LBJ Presidential Library

$8.00

The Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum, also known as the LBJ Presidential Library, is the presidential library and museum of Lyndon Baines Johnson, the 36th president of the United States (1963–1969). It stands on the grounds of the University of Texas at Austin and is one of 15 presidential libraries run by the National Archives and Records Administration. The library holds about 45 million pages of documents, along with some 650,000 photographs, 7,500 video recordings and 12,000 audio recordings from Johnson's presidency and the people around him. It was dedicated in 1971, and a multimillion-dollar redesign of its exhibits reopened to the public in December 2012.
