Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park

Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park covers several separate units along the Nevada shore of Lake Tahoe near Incline Village, including Sand Harbor, known for its clear turquoise water and smooth granite boulders. Sand Harbor hosts the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival each summer, with performances staged on the beach. The park's holdings also extend into the backcountry above the lake, including Spooner Lake and the historic Marlette Lake area, once used to supply water to Virginia City's silver mines. Its mix of lakeside beach and high-elevation trails makes it one of the more varied parks on the Nevada side of Tahoe.
