Kent Falls State Park

Kent Falls State Park, in the northwestern Connecticut hills near the town of Kent, centers on a series of cascades that drop a combined total of about 250 feet along Falls Brook before it reaches the Housatonic River. A short trail with observation points follows alongside the falls, making it one of the more accessible waterfall hikes in the state. The park sits close to a section of the Appalachian Trail that runs through this part of Connecticut. Its cascades are especially popular after heavy rain, when water volume increases noticeably.
