Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park

Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park, near Florence, Oregon, is named for an early advocate for Oregon's state park and scenic-roadside movement in the first half of the 20th century. The park centers on two freshwater lakes, Cleawox and Woahink, tucked among the towering sand dunes of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Its combination of lake swimming and access to the surrounding dune field makes it one of the more popular camping parks on the central Oregon coast. Dune buggies and off-highway vehicles are permitted in adjacent areas of the dunes outside the park itself.
