Iron-on patch

Heritage Park

$8.00

Heritage Park is a city-run historic park at 1581 North Chaparral Street in downtown Corpus Christi, Texas, in the bayfront museum district near the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History. It gathers a group of historic Corpus Christi houses, the oldest dating to 1851, among them the Galván, Lichtenstein, Gugenheim, Sidbury and Grande-Grossman houses. Several are Recorded Texas Historic Landmarks, and the Simon Gugenheim House has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983. The city's Parks and Recreation Department runs the park as a cultural center that pays tribute to the area's ethnic and cultural diversity, with art and community events through the year. Visitors can take self-guided outdoor walking tours of the houses, and the Lytton Memorial Rose Garden is part of the grounds.
