Iron-on patch

Great Salt Lake State Park

$8.00

Great Salt Lake State Park is a state park and marina on the south shore of the Great Salt Lake in Magna, about 16 miles west of downtown and outside Salt Lake City limits. It opened as a state park in 1978 and is home to the Great Salt Lake Yacht Club, with a marina of about 300 slips and a boat ramp. The lake has sat near historic lows for years, so the shoreline is often mudflat and marina and boat access can be limited. Conditions vary from season to season, so check with Utah State Parks before you go if you plan to swim or launch a boat.
