Iron-on patch

El Dorado State Park

$8.00

El Dorado State Park, near the city of El Dorado, Kansas, is built around El Dorado Lake, one of the largest state parks in the Kansas system. It sits at the edge of the Flint Hills, a region of tallgrass prairie largely spared from the plow because of its rocky soil. The lake is popular for boating, sailing, and fishing, and the park includes camping and beach areas along its shoreline. Its size and open water make it a major recreation draw for the Wichita area, about 30 miles to the southwest.
