Iron-on patch

Crowders Mountain State Park

$8.00

Crowders Mountain State Park, near Kings Mountain, North Carolina, centers on two rocky peaks, Crowders Mountain and the Pinnacle, that rise sharply from the surrounding Piedmont countryside. Steep trails climb to exposed rock summits with wide views, and the park's cliffs are a popular technical rock-climbing destination. It lies close to the Revolutionary War battlefield commemorated at nearby Kings Mountain National Military Park, though the two sites are separate. The park's quartzite peaks stand out sharply against the otherwise gently rolling terrain of the region.
