Iron-on patch

Cleveland History Center

$8.00

The Cleveland History Center is the Western Reserve Historical Society's museum campus on East Boulevard in University Circle. The society was founded in 1867, making it the oldest cultural institution in Northeast Ohio, and it moved to this site in the late 1930s. The campus holds the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum, with more than 150 vintage cars and airplanes, the restored 1910 Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel, and two historic mansions: the 1911 Hay-McKinney house designed by Abram Garfield and the Bingham-Hanna house built from 1916 to 1919. Its costume wing keeps more than 30,000 garments, and the library and archives, with the world's largest collection of Shaker materials, are a major source for Northeast Ohio history and genealogy. Changing exhibitions cover the region's history.
